Yosemite Association

The Yosemite Association is a non-profit organization that strives to help support and improve Yosemite and educate the public about the park and issues that affect it. Since 1923 the Yosemite Association has worked with Yosemite National Park to make park visitor's experiences more enjoyable and to ensure that the park continues to be the wonderful place it is today by providing educational services and fund-raising support.

Educational Efforts
The Yosemite Association provides a variety of educational publications, including books on the natural and cultural history of Yosemite Park and guide books for climbing, hiking, skiing and nature watching. Seminars and courses by professional educators and on various park-related topics are also offered throughout the year.

The Yosemite Association also has a strong online presence. Online visitors can find information to help them plan their trip to Yosemite, learn about the area, animals, plants and geographic features that they may encounter, information on seminars and courses and membership information.
