Yosemite National Park has thirteen different campgrounds, seven of which allow reservations.

    Upper Pines - Open All Year
    Lower Pines - Open late March to late October
    North Pines - Open early April to early November
    Camp 4 (First-come, First-served; No RVs) - Open All Year
  • South of Yosemite Valley  
    Wawona - Open All Year
    Bridalveil Creek (First-come, First-served) - July to early September 
  • North of Yosemite Valley  
    Hodgdon Meadow - Open All Year
    Crane Flat (50% Reserved/50% First-come First-served) - mid July to mid October
    Tamarack Flat (First-come, First-served) - July to mid October
    White Wolf (First-come, First-served) - July to mid September
    Yosemite Creek (First-come, First-served) - July to mid October
    Porcupine Flat (First-come, First-served) - July to mid October
    Tuolumne Meadows (First-come, First-served) - July to late September
  • Backcountry Campgrounds (permit required)

Reservations

Six campgrounds are first some first serve and usually fill by noon during the summer. It is essential that you either make reservations or arrive to your desired camp early.

Seasons

Although most campgrounds are open only from April through September, Wawona, Hodgdon Meadow and the two campgrounds located in Yosemite Valley are open all year.
