Royal Arch Cascade

Waterfalls //
As one of the easier waterfalls to view and get to in Yosemite National Park, the Royal Arch Cascade is also on the smaller side in comparison to others in the park, coming in at a height of 950 feet. However, it is not to be missed and is easily accessible to anyone.
The Royal Arch Cascade is the perfect waterfall for viewers who are not able to hike the trails and get to some of the more treacherous waterfalls buried deep within Yosemite National Park. The cascade directly flanks the Royal Arches, a set of concentric crescent shaped setbacks in the cliffs facade.
The Royal Arch Cascade has a low water flow and often dries out early in June. The best time to gaze at this magnificent waterfall is during the winter or early spring. It is also within walking distance for those who are staying at the Ahwahnee Hotel and would like to take a nice, evening stroll.
Others can reach the Royal Arch Cascade's site by taking Southside Drive in Yosemite National Park, driving past Curry Village to the pit stop along the meadow where the falls are located.
