Details: Special packages combine to create an environment where visitors can partake in wine tasting and local recreation, whilst becoming more familiar with wine from the many wineries that participate in these exciting events.
The park's famous Ahwahnee Hotel is the main host. In fact, it has been offering these holidays now for two decades, pooling together both novice and experienced wine tasters with owners of some thirty two wineries.
The holidays range from 2 to 3 days in length, including seminars, discussions and professional wine tasting under the guidance of real experts. Every evening is highlighted not only with a chosen wine of the day, but a tasty and elegant dinner in the lodge's famous main dining room. In fact, the hotel's head chef is in charge of the excellent menu and delights guests with the ability to complement both food and wine in the most perfect way.
All holiday packages include accommodation at the lodge, event admission and tickets for the dinners. However, none of these vacations are available on weekends or seasonal holidays.
