The entertainment kicks off with a luscious dinner, music, dance, games, naughty snacks and chocolates, all in plain view of a vibrant and crackling fireplace. The next morning, guests are given a celebration breakfast and then sent off on varied activities throughout the park with complementary packed lunches. Some opt for winter hikes, snowshoeing or even park tours. Then, some wander into the lodge library to rest with a cup of hot chocolate by the fireplace or indulge in an inclusive bodily massage in the spa.
New Year's Eve starts around a memorable dinner. Adults wander off to the local tavern to warm up after a long day in the snow and cold, laughing, enjoying live music and preparing themselves for the festivities ahead. As the party unfolds, kids and adults are treated to a large buffet of desserts, all made in accordance with individual desires and tastes.
The New Year's Eve Party picks up pace with further food, drink, entertainment and dancing to salsa, rock, pop and Latino music. The only criterion is that every guest, children included, must dress according to the decade that suits their tastes. Then, a lodge king and queen are picked and other prizes are awarded. When midnight arrives, the New Year is toasted in with top quality champagne in specially engraved champagne glasses (gifts for the adults to keep) and a special punch just for the kids.
The next day, after a long sleep in, partiers gather in the main dining room to enjoy their champagne brunch. Afterwards, many head out for further relaxation or simply venture into the wilds for one final go at winter recreation.
