  • Rafting

    Just northeast of El Portal is the small town of Foresta. Hike an easy trail out and back to Foresta Falls. If you drive into Yosemite, you can start a terrific hike from Tunnel View to Inspiration Point. This 2.6-mile hike gives you picturesque views.

From El Portal, to enter Yosemite National Park, you simply follow California Highway 140 east towards Yosemite Valley.
